Masonic Certificates and Research One of the most neglected sources in masonic and public archives are masonic certificates. They are however a fascinating evidence for the mobility of masons before the introduction of passports in national states. Besides, they contain an extraordinary imagery.
Our centre aims at to launch a project in order to digitize such certificates and to interpret them as documents that demonstrate the cultural dynamics of a fraternal organization.
